Following the success of Point Salad, which was on the Spiel des Jahres recommendation list in 2021, Point Galaxy is now being released. This time, it’s not cabbage, carrots, and the like that score points, but suns, moons, and more. In each round, players choose two cards from the face-up display and place them in their galaxy, which can consist of any number of solar systems. However, each solar system may contain only one sun and one asteroid, but any number of moon, wormhole, and planet cards. Each card type has individual placement requirements and earns different points. With changing end-scoring conditions and a majority scoring system, every game remains exciting until the very end.
