In these two adventures, set in 1925 in Kamborn, the theme is the struggle of being alone: In "Murder Theater," a trip to the theater turns into a harrowing experience when a murder on stage appears terrifyingly realistic. A young couple in love is left entirely to their own devices and requires the investigators' help before everything takes a turn for the worse.

In "Short-Short-Long," the investigators themselves are left to fend for themselves in the moor north of Kamborn. A meteorite, Morse code, and a liquid threat ensure that things are never dull before their hopefully avoidable demise.
