In Anno Domini, it’s not about exact knowledge. Because who really knows whether “Marc Chagall painted a cow with a parasol” before or after “the Eiffel Tower was painted yellow-orange.” Taking turns, each player adds a new event to the chain of mostly curious occurrences, trying to be the first to get rid of their cards. If a player doubts that the event cards are in the correct order, the moment of truth arrives: the cards are flipped over, and the chronological sequence is checked using the dates provided. If something is wrong, the player who went just before receives penalty cards. However, if everything is correct, the skeptic must draw penalty cards.
