Alchemist or blacksmith, time traveler or captain – which role do players take on in this extraordinary, asymmetrical game? In their unique shops, they produce their own goods using individual game components and their own specific rules. After all, an alchemist naturally crafts potions in a completely different way than a blacksmith crafts weapons! Then it’s time to head to the port of Merchants Cove! That is where the grand market takes place, where players aim to sell their goods to the public. But competition is fierce! Therefore, it is important to influence demand, attract customers, and secure the support of the four guilds to amass the greatest wealth and win the game!
With the separately available expansions The Dragon Rancher, The Innkeeper, and The Oracle, additional roles for Merchants Cove are available, even allowing you to play with up to five people! The Secret Stash additionally expands the game with new elements and offers many ways to customize the playing experience
