Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons not only pits players against four of the most terrifying monsters from the classic roleplaying game, but also introduces new gameplay elements inspired by D&D mechanics – including the use of a twenty-sided die.

Horrified: Dungeons & Dragons includes familiar gameplay elements from other games in the series: players work together to overcome monsters and cryptic obstacles, collect item tokens, protect citizens, and dodge attacks. Unique, thematic challenges for each monster allow players to delve even deeper into the detailed world and history. Additionally, at the beginning, each person chooses one of five hero figures inspired by D&D character classes: Wizard, Rogue, Fighter, Cleric, or Bard – each with their own suite of abilities that help the group navigate the board and defeat the monsters in the dungeon below Waterdeep.
