Anno Domini is not about precise knowledge. After all, who knows whether "the Tiller Girls, the sensational new US dance troupe, went on a European tour" before or after "Japan banned the hula hoop due to moral concerns." In turns, each player adds a new event to the chain of mostly curious incidents, trying to be the first to get rid of their cards. If a player doubts that the event cards are in the correct order, the moment of truth arrives: The cards are flipped over, and the chronological order is verified using the dates provided. If something is wrong, the player who had their turn just before is handed penalty cards. If, however, everything is correct, the doubter must draw penalty cards.
