The heart of the game is the action-choice mechanism. All players simultaneously put two small boards together and add their upgrades. Therefore everyone plans their whole turn at the same time. This leads to reduced downtime and an exciting interaction thanks to the choice priority mechanism (price).
There is a well-made bot, which you will also want to add in 2 and 3-player games. The rules are simple and the complexity comes with interaction. With experienced players, you might be able to play one game in just over an hour.

Smartphone Inc. might not be my favorite game ever, but it will definitely stay in my collection.

First of all, this is a worker placement game. The most unique thing about it is the "planning" phase. During this phase, you choose the number, ordering, and value of your worker placement actions that will happen in the next phase. The planning phase is done with you creating combinations from the planning cards. You can do some pretty crazy combinations to get the actions that you will need in the next phase. Although there is no "combat" in this game, the player interaction is very high. You'll spend a lot of time thinking about the moves that the other players are going to make.
This is a great game for anyone who hates solitaire multiplier games and likes high-interaction euro games.
